 It's been a little bit of radio silence on my end for this project, but I've finally gotten pictures that I like and a concept that I think I'm going to go with. I'm going to try and create a sort of stained-glass window effect, with my partner as a model. I also think I'm going to lean towards the visual concepts of biblically accurate angels. Hopefully will have another update tonight!

  This is what I've got so far. I've been lacking in inspiration lately, hoping to find some in Asheville this weekend.

  "Body," a narrative in four parts. This series expresses my personal struggles with gender dysphoria, and body dysmorphia, which are two sides of the same coin for me. I don't experience my insecurities about my body as separate from my gender identity dysphoria; they are one and the same. The pieces are about struggling with body image, and learning that I may not ever be 100% happy in my body, but that I can find people who can hold that happiness for me; I can find support from the people I love, even when I don't always love myself.

I had an epiphany this morning that I could put pencil drawings I've made into photoshop to work with them, so here are some more experiments with pictures of my traditional drawings and musings with some different blending modes! Pretty excited about this, not gonna lie.

  Here's some concept art with the ideas I've got bouncing around in my head currently. I'm thinking I want to focus on the concepts of identity, and transitions.
